Welcome

No doubt that Azores are one of the most amazing whale watch destinations in the world. Whale hunting played an important part in the history and culture of the Azores. The Azorean whalers had a reputation for being brave and strong. They always used hand made harpoons open boats until 1985.

And important fact is that whales and dolphins can be seen every year it does not depend on the migrations routes but on the weather conditions. Cetaceans are attracted to Azores due to the abundance of food there and the best of everything is that you can see many different species in one place.

There are lots of other things to see for example Cory's Shearwaters, turtles, and sport fish such as Swordfish and Marlin. Taking all of this into account it's not surprising why the Azores are consider by some one of the best three places in the world to do whale watch.
